Crockpot Pork Balsamic & Brown Sugar Glazed

PORK RUB
- 1 pound pork loin
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon sage
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 2 cloves garlic - minced
- 2 slices onion
- ½ cup water
GLAZE
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup water
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce - low sodium
butter - heat the butter in a skillet or the skillet setting in the crockpot
combine and add sage, salt, pepper, garlic and onion to butter
sear the meat on all sides
lower crockpot to low and add 1/2 cup water
cook on low for about 6 to 7 hours
GLAZE - make ahead or right before serving
head small sauce pan
combine - brown sugar, cornstarch, balsamic vinegar, water and soy sauce
heat and stir until glaze thickens
remove meat from crockpot and slice
drizzle glaze on meat - serve
