Cheesesteak Wraps are no where even close to the Mr. Z’s Cheese steak I want from Key West, but it will have to do. I am on the weight-loss train right now so this fits into the lifestyle and it was TASTY!!! It will be served with lettuce on a fiber filled wrap.
Mark is not living the low carb life and he enjoys fungus (mushrooms) so his is a bit different with the same base. Mark’s is being served on a super yummy sub roll FRESH from the bakery with some mayo slapped on it. The 2nd of of his he will be eating over white rice.
The recipe is set up for TWO servings because we are not giant fans of left overs. So when you are cutting everything up you can cut up for multiple meals and then make fresh the next time. To be clear each recipe has 2 servings a pound of meat will make 4 servings. See the recipe for details.
The peppers – neither one of us are fans of mushy peppers so we cook them just long enough to absorb the flavors and to warm them up a bit.
Cheeses – These combined make a great mellow, sweet and salty flavor.
