Let the good times roll!!!
Mardi Gras started in Mobile, Alabama in 1703, when Mobile was in LA. It is the oldest annual celebration in the United States. Nicholas Langlois a Frenchman started it.
2021 has Mardi Gras falling on Tuesday, February 16th.
King Cake is eaten during Mardi Gras. It is made of brioche dough with cinnamon. There is a little plastic baby hidden in the cake. Whoever finds the baby has to buy the next cake or host the next party. We usually purchase our cake every year but we will definitely be getting this kit and making it ourselves this year!
