Tasting Adventures – The Family Dines Out
We are just doing our part… getting out there are devouring food! Supporting the community one bite at a time. Hopefully, our reviews will help you to make something amazing for dinner or try a new restaurant.
Our reviews are simple – letting the photographs speak for themselves. Enjoy!
Japanese BBQ Review
We recently ate at and reviewed a Hot Pot restaurant so they kids wanted to try another “You Cook It” restaurant. They ended up NOT getting the food to cook – go figure! Well Paddy did have the SMORES… which were awesome!
Let’s get right to it.
- clean and well maintained
- reservations – they do allow you to make these through OPEN TABLE
- staff – very friendly and not in your face
- food – fresh and lots of offerings
- cheese – they do offer a cheese… they call it a fondue cheese – note unless you are dipping your veggies in it – there are no chips and not normal fondue offerings for the cheese – Saoirse wanted me to make certain I mentioned this to you.
- parking lot – tight and small
- They offer and all you can eat WITH A TIME LIMIT – there is a picture of the poster below.
- They do have offering to share – this is a bigger bang for your buck!
- The lighting was not great for photo’s, but we were there to eat so there’s that! So there are a couple of blurry ones – sorry about that.
SO HAPPY WITH THESE!!! Crab Wontons are always served, I don’t like crab. So when I found out they were just cheese (cream cheese) I almost ordered 3 rounds. They were so good with the hot sauce.
Sit down at table.
They explain your options – there are a lot of ways to order.
The grill is turned on and oiled up.
We had Edamame while we waited for food, it comes out at different times.
Garlic Chicken Noodles is what Paddy ordered – he loved it!!!
The Ramen came with meat in it… but because I had ordered steak I had them out the meat on the side.
Tiny ordered the cheese not knowing what she would dip in it… so towards the end she ordered broccoli. You cook it in the tinfoil… but she like getting it a bit crispy on the grill.
Garlic Fried Rice – they make at the table – this was RIDICULOUSLY amazing!
The bowl is hot enough to cook the egg – watch the video
Smores – comes with enough to make 2
Mochi – Raspberry – Caramel – Mango
