How to make a simple Halloween Cake
We tend to overdue the holidays… and we love it. This was a dual cake for play the kids did and also used it to celebrate Halloween. Before the kids saw the cake it toppled over and fell on it’s side! They never noticed the mistake.,, because I covered the oopsy with candy!
The easiest way to do this is to buy a boxed cake mix. you can jazz it up by adding in a packet of instant pudding, this make the cake MOIST! Bake the cake… and let it cool. Frost the cake. Choose some items that are in the theme of your cake. Slap them on the cake and BOOM you are done. Now make certain that your items are not too heavy or the cake will topple over!
BOXED CAKE MIX
Sometimes this is all we have time for. I like to add cheesecake instant pudding to this and follow the boxed instructions. It makes the cake MOIST. Also a little cinnamon adds a nice touch.
This is a small cake. The pans are 4 inches by 2 inches… click here
Cream Cheese whipped frosting in a can is actually very good and goes well with this cake.
These make the best edgers. You do not have to be a wiz at the frosting. Use candy to hide your imperfections.
